Katie Anderson, FNP-c

Katie Anderson, APRN, FNP-c, is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She comes to Elite Healthcare in Cross Road, Texas, with more than 15 years of healthcare experience. She believes that educating patients and their families about healthy lifestyles and health promotion and prevention are key components to reaching optimal health.

Katie has a true passion for helping others and feels fortunate that she gets to do what she loves as a profession. Her goal is to ensure everyone has access to affordable care in an environment that promotes wellness. She looks forward to collaborating with patients to create a plan of care that helps them reach their health goals. Her plan of care includes a holistic approach combining modern medication with supplements, vitamins, a healthy diet, and exercise. She has a special interest in treating thyroid issues, acute and chronic health concerns, depression, anxiety, weight management and hormonal imbalances. 

Katie’s  background includes critical care, working with students/residents, and the broad spectrum that is family practice. She has mentored many nurse practitioners and given them the foundation needed to provide safe, effective, and culturally competent patient-centered care. 

In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She also enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, biking and all things outdoors!
